Financial incentives are required to import medical equipments

NEW DELHI: Market observers are keeping a close eye on the budget developments, but the healthcare sector is growing impatient because many analysts think the government should increase its budgetary support for the sector.

Senior citizens are primarily facing issues with health insurance, where the company has placed a deterrent due to the elderly citizen's baseline medical conditions. They believe that the government should either take care of all the elderly people's insurance or pressurise insurance companies to provide easy access to health insurance.

India has a large population which makes providing healthcare a significant challenge. One way to make healthcare more affordable is to lower the cost of inputs, such as equipment and consumables, through imports or domestic production. Another way to make healthcare more accessible is to increase the number of people who have insurance coverage. I think a lot of states have their own state insurance, which is doing very well. The Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), also known as Ayushman Bharat, is a government-funded health insurance scheme that aims to provide coverage to more people. Additionally, private insurers also play a role in providing healthcare coverage, which can help make healthcare more affordable for more people. Overall, a culture shift towards greater insurance coverage and more affordable healthcare costs can help make healthcare more accessible to more people in India.
